I’ve been binge watching a series of interviews done by a young Canadian filmmaker and entrepreneur named Riley Dayne. The interviews were for a film he made called “Age of the Entrepreneur: https://www.facebook.com/ageoftheentrepreneur/?eid=ARD7GlkmxXfi3ejP6y1C91R37gd3_ml0OK0lnrBHz1jLKLXkiVEguqV3Yecvp6m_Vb6xN4_RRGEXORwd An inspiring film worth watching. From these interviews and the mountain of marketing books I read, there are a handful of statements nuggets of wisdom regarding starting and owning a business that I stumbled across. Things like the importance of having the right mindset, it’s hard, how well email campaigns work, the power of story, it’s hard, the importance of passion, the need for mentors, not doing it alone, did I mention it’s hard? Believing that these topics and others are life-changing insights, I thought it would be helpful to cover the things I discovered. I know you have discoveries as well and I would love to hear them. Leave them in the comments or email me directly and I promise I will respond back. Any other topics you would like to see covered, just let me know and I will put it on the list. I may not know much, (probably don’t), but I can find someone who does. As always, if you feel like this is not your thing, please unsubscribe below and I’ll never pester you again. Ever. As in no Christmas cards, I won’t go to your daughter’s wedding or your nephew’s Bar Mitzvah. Not even–well you get the point. So, let’s get this party started! Meanwhile keep doing what you love even if you don’t get paid for it!
